Carmel Academic Center was built from an old harbor warehouse in Haifa. The architects Knafo Klimor who are known for their approach to sustainable architecture decided to use the old rectangular box and wrap it into two floors which contain lectures halls, library, and offices.  The inspiration for this project derived from the containers in the harbor. The architects designed the facade in a colorful and lively way with portraits of well-known Israeli culture personalities.  An innovative design with the scent of education and culture, suitable to an academic institute.
